The Test and Evaluation Working Group (TEWG) has been postponed to early 2026 and will convene at an alternate intelligence community venue. Registration will remain paused pending confirmation of the new location.
Collaborate with your Community at TEWG
The NRO’s Operational Performance Evaluation Division (OPED), will host its 57th Test and Evaluation Working Group (TEWG) from 12-13 of November 2025 at Westfields J.D. Hill Auditorium located within the NRO in Chantilly, Virginia. This event serves as a collaborative forum bringing together the NRO, Intelligence Community (IC), and Department of Defense (DoD) supporting communities.
This years TEWG will be focused on SIGINT and GEOINT tests within the IC that were conducted in the past year as well as future testing and new capabilities. The TEWG sessions will be held at the TS//SI/TK//NOFORN security classification level and releasability. Topics and discussions are likely to include, but not limited to, OPED-support to test and evaluations, demos and experiments in the following mission areas:
- Maritime Domain Awareness (MDA)
- Cyber Operations
- Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) and Remote Control Model Aircraft (RCMA)
- Smallsats and Cubesats
- Commerical signal jammers (i.e. GPS, GSM, CDMA, Wi-FI, WiMAX, UHF/VHF Radios, etc)
- Arctic region, Northwest passage and northern latitudes monitoring
- SIGINT & GEOINT Next Generation Systems
- Emerging Technologies and Next Generation Targets
This event plays a crucial role in fostering partnerships, sharing intelligence, integrating efforts, and bridging technology gaps across the community.

In addition to the sessions, the event will feature a Technology Expo showcasing unclassified industry exhibits on Thurs 13 Nov outside the auditorium. Industry partners are invited to display their latest technologies, innovations, and capabilities relevant to the TEWG and NRO community.
